Friendly staff doesn't make up for a $50 oil change and no air conditioning in the waiting area. I thought the price included a tire rotate which I had forgot to mention (it would have been another $20 so I'm happy I forgot). I asked if they could wiggle on the price and the owner said their quality of work is so high that although he knows they charge more than Jim Olson's he isn't willing to drop the price. I'm going to Jim Olson's (half the price with air conditioning) and Rosy's Tire Barn (great prices and no "your car is going to fall apart so pay us more to fix everything" nonsense) for all future work.
Young Automotive is a reminder of past craftsmanship, quality, and professionalism. The atmosphere shouts "you are welcome here". The techs are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. The shop is clean and self sustained, but if you have that "hard to find item" the staff will work with you to get it. I have nothing but good words to say about Fred Young and his staff. Their work is quality. The pricing is more than fair. And when you leave, you will feel you just visited a friend.
