Food wise you're not gonna get any better than what we had last night. I had the 20 ounce prime rib medium rare/medium perfectly chard and blackened which is hard to do both of those and still maintain perfectly being done. Wife had the scallops also blackened which were top notch
The standard of food quality for price being charged, almost everyplace from door County all the way up to gills rock needs to take major lessons . There are still a few places up there like chop and and a few others that know what the hell they're doing for the price you're charging.... everybody else needs to put their thinking/listening caps on
Been going there since I as a little kid (a loonnnggg) increasing depressing time). Old style supper club feel. Good old style meals and comfort food. Their prime rib rocks... get a LARGE one! Building and dining room are a little rundown (one star off), but service is great.
Went for dinner with the wife and parents and even though the wait was a little longer the waitress was very friendly and pleasant.
Nice local place. It may be a little pricey for drinks but the atmosphere is very inviting. I would suggest the prime rib because it's always very good. it has been a local hotspot for years and years and years.
For dessert we each had a single serving roundchocolate shaped cake with a moist chocolatey center.
Really good prime rib and good food! The restaurant has a old time supper club feel. Very busy, so be prepared to wait even with a reservation, so reservations are the way to go (it may have been busy because of the Thur prime rib special). The staff was nice, it did take some time for the server to get to our table; but we weren't in a hurry. Highly recommend!
A typical Wisconsin supper club. The food was good. Steaks were cooked a little rarer than we ordered, service was pleasant but slow. Great potato skins and soup was outstanding.
