Exceptionally clean very private family oriented and unmatched sunsets great family vacations
I drove a long time coming from Colorado with my family to enjoy the Door County peninsula. The location was perfect. One day we went across with the ferry to Washington Island for a beautiful day trip. Another day, we enjoyed all the shops in the upper peninsula and all the little towns- and even stopped at a drive-in theater. Another day, just 5 minutes down the road, we enjoyed cherry picking at the country orchard, hearing the roosters crow in the background. We went back to the cottage and baked a pie in a well supplied kitchen. For a little extra fee, my daughters were taken out for a tubing expedition and learned how to water ski. The place was clean and homey, one night we just stayed in to watch a movie, roast marshmallows, and watch a beautiful sunset over the lake and the sandy beaches. The best vacation ever.
The place was clean, had cycles for travelling near by and play room in the base ment. Wifi was a problem in the rooms but was good in the basement.Good for group of 3-4 family. Kitchen had good number of utensils if you wish to cook.
Had such a great time. Very clean, simple. Back deck, fire pit, swing and beach access were highlights. Will look into coming back!
