He even acted like he was doing us a favor by wasting our time, and had a smile on his face when he delivered the good news that neither of us had warrants out for our arrests - what a surprise to two law abiding citizens. The ordeal finally ended when we were dropped off after several wrong turns and a near miss with the shoulder of Scandia because he couldn't keep his eyes on the road.
Next thing we know he demands our IDs, searches her bag and frisks me, and we're spending half an hour UNLAWFULLY DETAINED in the back of a locked police car while he runs our information through the system.
