Great state park, well maintained by the staff. Took a scenic drive through the perimeter during the peak falls while on road trip to door county area. It’s conveniently located off WI 42. Rich in colors and scenery could be observed from various spots including a watch tower, wayside look etc. It has a campground, hike trail and picnic spot, thus provides an all in service offer.
Be aware that it's not a free entry, $5/ 1hr, $8-$11/day depending on if u have Wisconsin plates or not.
Every time I visit this this place, it keeps showing me a different facet of this place. The tower n boat landing two good spots for family. And if u can, take some trails n u wud be sweetly surprised of how rich and variety this park has got. Will be visiting more often.
Very gorgeous park! There’s long roads that are great for biking and long, beautiful trails for walking. Potawatomi has very lovely campsites. I must mention, the view from the tower is spectacular.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Campsites are good sized, clean, and easy to access. Would love to stay here again at some point. Beautiful area and highly recommend coming here in the fall when all of the colors are changing. Absolutely breathtaking
Beautiful place to camp & hike. The water views are spectacular. Check out the camping store on park grounds. They have great coffee and anything else you need. You can even get some local facts about the park from the cashier's. They even have their own mascot Arthur(Bassett hound)!
