I even asked if I could be charged less since I didn't get the full service and I was still required to pay full price.
I had a very pleasant massage here and it was well worth the money that I paid for. The massage therapist was very professional and helpful.
When I was done with everything I quietly walked to the front desk to pay my bill. I asked the woman at the desk if the girl was a licensed esthetician. To which she replied, yes. I than said, really? Because she told me she's a hair stylist who knows nothing about facials. The woman had only 1 reply. She told me she was.... I was flabbergasted at this point and couldn't believe a company would hire someone without checking their licenses. Perhaps the state board should pay a visit... by the way, I was also informed, by the girl who did my so called facial, she knows jack about waxing. She told me she's made every single client bleed that she's ever waxed, and wanted my advice on why every client got red bumps or bled on her table, she's also hoping that soon they'll get rid of the waxing off the menu... BE WARE OF THIS PLACE!!! Please just go to the regular Spa's at the resorts, don't try this local place. You'll be so disappointed.
Next up was my facial... it started off as I was laying down in the bed when the girl told me, I'm not allowed to do extractions... I'm not even an esthetician, in fact she was a hair stylist. I asked her if she learned it in school and she said she had a crash week course, and is why she's not allowed to do extractions. Being a licensed esthetician myself, I was aware of cosmetology courses and felt confident she would know the basics, ESP since she told me she was trained by the owner of the company. I laid there for again another therapy session, not mine of course, but the girl who did my facial. I too learned all about this woman's life from the time she was born till now. But let's start with the actual facial... I had worn makeup to the spa because my appointments were later in the day. She never removed my eye makeup, nor any majeup at all. I basically had 3 masks, which as an esthetician I can tell you is highly uncommon for a facial. She got everything she used in my eyes, as they started to burn and overflow from the product she was just slathering on, I finally had to ask for a tissue. She could see my eyes were loaded with the stuff she was putting all over my face, and never bothered to help me clean it out. She ended it all by giving me a massage. I was slathered in so much cream and oil. The massage itself was very deep tissue, and again not recommended. I was mostly taken back by the fact that she kept asking me what to do rather than knowing what's she's supposed to do.
I came in with shellac on my toe nails. This spa evidentially does not use shellac (a fact that I was not informed of when I booked the appointment). Because I had shellac on my toes and the nail tech had to remove it, I was not given any other treatments that were supposed to come along with the spa pedicure. My nails were cut, shaped, and painted and that's it. I was NOT given the following directly off of their menu because it took too much time to remove my shellac:
The massage was very good. I'm not sure the sauna experience is worth it, though.

Awesome service. Fantastic massages
Skip the nail services...
I'm sorry if I'm wrong to at least expect a massage at a pedicure. My polish was also smudged and my nails weren't filed straight. I'll probably be redoing my own nails at home within the next few days. Furthermore- the menu says the pedicure is supposed to last for 60 minutes and mine lasted about 45 minutes.
Go for the massage! It's great!
I will start with the positive-
I should note that their website does mention removing gel polish before your appointment, but we scheduled everything via phone call and weren't given these instructions.
Like the previous review I too had a bad experience. I booked a massage, facial and tried to book a mani/pedi. The woman who I spoke to on the phone, informed me she didn't know what shellac or "no chip" polish was, so I was hesitant to book the nail services. I did go through with the facial and massage. The massage was ok, however I learned the entire massage therapists life story during what was suppose to be my time of relaxation that I was paying top dollar for. The massage itself could have been great but like I said, I was unable to actually enjoy it because the woman who performed it couldn't stop talking about her entire life's history...or her cat Remington! I too paid for two different treatments, a head massage and full body, I was told since I had to fill out paperwork as a new client it took up time away from my appointments, and I wouldn't get the full treatment, but I would most certainty be expected to pay for both at full price.

Massage therapist was great! I had a therapeutic massage. Have had great pedicures here, too.
Now here's the negative that I am NOT happy about-
In conclusion-
